LFG exists to help players find teammates. These guidelines describe the behaviour we expect on profiles, in chat, on the Board and in every social feature of the app.
They are part of our Terms of Service: breaking them can lead to content removal, feature limits, a temporary suspension or a permanent one.
1. Respect other players
Treat other people as you would in a voice lobby with strangers: disagreement is fine, contempt is not.
LFG is about gaming, not dating. Do not use the app to look for romantic or sexual encounters.
2. No harassment or threats
- no insults, stalking or repeated unwanted contact;
- no threats of violence, doxxing or sharing someone else's personal information;
- no encouraging self-harm or targeting someone after they blocked you.
3. No hate or discrimination
Content attacking people because of ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic is not allowed, including in nicknames, bios, avatars and Board posts.
4. No sexual or inappropriate content
- no sexual, pornographic or graphically violent images or texts;
- no content involving minors in any ambiguous way;
- no illegal content, and no promotion of illegal activity.
5. No spam, scams or impersonation
- no advertising, mass messaging or repeated identical posts;
- no phishing, account selling, cheats, boosting services or fake giveaways;
- do not pretend to be another player, a streamer, a studio or an LFG staff member.
6. Use chat, Board and social features as intended
Chat requests, matches, the Board and reviews exist to organise play sessions. Do not flood them, do not recycle the same post to stay on top, and do not use them to move people onto other platforms for abusive purposes.
7. No manipulation or abusive reports
Reports and blocks protect the community. Filing false reports to punish someone, or coordinating with others to bury a player, is itself a violation.
8. No ban evasion
If your account is suspended, do not create a new one or use somebody else's account to come back before the measure ends. An account we recognise as connected to a permanent suspension can be suspended automatically.
9. What happens if you break the rules
Depending on the seriousness and on any repetition, we can remove content, limit features, suspend the account for a period, or suspend it permanently.
10. Reporting and appeals
You can report a user or a piece of content from their profile or from the chat, and you can block anyone at any time. If you think a decision about your account is wrong, see our Suspensions and Appeals policy or write to lookingforgroup.community@gmail.com.
