This policy explains how subscriptions and Boost purchases are renewed, cancelled and refunded on LFG. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Which rules apply depends on where you bought: on the web the seller of record is Paddle, in the Android app the purchase is handled by Google Play.

1. Subscriptions (LFG Overclock and Overclock Pro)

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until they are cancelled. The price and the billing frequency are shown before you confirm the purchase.

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not, by itself, remove the time you already paid for: while your LFG account stays active and the provider allows it, your benefits normally continue until the end of the current period.

2. Cancelling a web subscription (Paddle)

You can cancel from the Upgrade page in the app, using “Manage plan”, which opens the customer portal provided by Paddle.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you are not charged again, and your plan stays active until the period ends. We do not trigger immediate cancellations or automatic pro-rata refunds.

3. Cancelling an Android subscription (Google Play)

Subscriptions bought inside the Android app are managed through Google Play: open Google Play → Subscriptions, or use the “Manage subscription” link in the app.

Cancellation, renewal and refunds for those purchases follow Google Play's procedures and policies. LFG cannot cancel or refund a Google Play subscription on your behalf.

4. Deleting your LFG account is not a normal cancellation

Deleting your account removes your access to LFG immediately, including any Premium time you had left. It is not a refundable event.

If you have an active Paddle subscription with automatic renewal, the deletion flow asks Paddle to stop the renewal at the end of the current period before the account is deleted. If you have an active Google Play subscription, you must cancel it yourself in Google Play: deleting the LFG account does not cancel it.

5. Boost

Boost items are consumable digital credits. Once a Boost has been activated and used to promote your profile, it has been fully delivered and cannot normally be refunded.

Boosts that were purchased but not yet used can be refunded on request, subject to the provider's process and to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

If a purchase is reversed by the provider (for example a chargeback or a refund issued by Paddle or Google), the corresponding Boost credits are removed from your account.

6. Consumers in the EU/EEA — right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU/EEA generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content or services.

Before any payment window opens, LFG shows you an order confirmation with a single mandatory checkbox, which is never pre-ticked. By ticking it you expressly request that the supply start immediately, before the end of the 14-day period.

Boost packs are consumable digital content supplied in full at once: once the Boosts are credited and available in your account, the contract has been fully performed and, having given that express consent and acknowledgement, you lose the right of withdrawal for that purchase.

Overclock plans are a continuous digital service. Asking for immediate activation does NOT cancel your right of withdrawal: you can still withdraw within 14 days, and you owe an amount proportionate to the part of the service already provided up to that moment.

To withdraw, write to us at the contact address below from the account email; we will forward the request to the provider that processed the payment.

We keep the exact text you accepted, its version, language, timestamp and a SHA-256 fingerprint of that text. You can read and download your own consent receipts at any time while your account exists, under Legal > My consent receipts; after the account is deleted the receipt is no longer available in the app and only a minimised proof, no longer linked to your account, may be kept as described in the Privacy Policy.

Mandatory consumer rights under the law of your country always apply and are not limited by this policy.

7. How to request a refund

Web purchases (Paddle): refunds are issued by Paddle as reseller/Merchant of Record. Use the receipt email you received from Paddle, or write to us and we will pass the request on. LFG cannot force a refund on a transaction managed by Paddle.

Android purchases (Google Play): request the refund through Google Play, in your Google Play order history. LFG cannot refund a Google Play transaction.

We do not issue duplicate refunds for the same purchase, and we may refuse requests linked to abuse or fraud.

8. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, the provider may retry it for a limited period. During that time your plan may be paused or restricted. When the payment definitively fails, the subscription ends.

9. Contact
